Toddlers are curious, imaginative, and wildly capable. So why wait until they're older to start exploring the stories that shaped the world?
History for toddlers? Absolutely.
This isn’t just another craft box—it’s your child’s very first step into the American story. One shape puzzle, star sticker, and secret code at a time.
Every activity in the Past & Play box is designed to build early skills and spark curiosity, without needing lectures, flashcards, or a teaching degree.
Through play, your toddler will begin to:
-
Match and compare
-
Recognize symbols and colors
-
Develop fine motor and pre-literacy skills
-
Understand change over time
- Connect emotionally with stories of the past
What’s inside:
1. Past & Present Passport
Each page is a simple two-piece shape puzzle comparing something from “then” vs. “now.” It’s visual, tactile, and toddler-approved.
2. Stars, Stripes & Shapes Book
Your child will match red, white, and blue shapes to build their own American flag while learning what each part means. Includes finger-trace numbers and left-to-right dot counting—sneaky early literacy at its best.
3. Color-by-Number: Meet the Little Lion Characters
Each coloring page uses just 1–3 colors, making it perfect for toddlers. As they color, they’ll meet Moo Moo, Bunny, Tiger, and Deer—and the historical figures they represent: George Washington, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and King George III.
(Includes crayons!)
4. Craft Tube Characters
Glue pre-cut character pieces onto sturdy craft tubes for instant pretend-play fun. No scissors required, and glue is included.
Optional: For extra durability, wrap the whole tube in masking tape to protect it for longer play. (Masking tape not included.)
5. Secret Code Decoder
Use the included red frame to reveal hidden letters and trace your finger to uncover what each letter represents—all American-themed symbols to spark early recognition and discussion.
P.S. This box was designed to connect with our books, too—like the King George color-by-number activity, which ties right into King George Loses the Battle (book sold separately).
Because at this age, it’s not about memorizing history.
It’s about laying the foundation for curiosity, awareness, and connection.
And this box?
It’s the most delightful, developmentally appropriate way to begin.
While many kids' growth kits cost $30–80 per box, Past & Play delivers five thoughtfully designed, history-infused activities for just $25—all carefully crafted for ages 2–4, no prep required, and with real developmental purpose behind every piece.
Just open the box and start exploring. Everything’s ready for you—no printing, no scissors, no stress.
Ready to spark a love of history—even in the littlest hands?
