MLK Jr.’s Dream Jar Mix-Up

We’ve added a hands-on sorting activity inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream.In this activity, children help fix a “mixed-up” Dream Jar by deciding which ideas match judging by character and which do not.

Through simple sorting and discussion, kids practice recognizing that character is shown through actions and choices, not appearance.

This gentle, play-based activity offers another way to revisit an important idea through conversation and real-life connection.
